Adhesive Patterns

Wausau Coated Products offers custom adhesive pattern coating. Pattern coated constructions are available with most our adhesives, the following parameters apply:

• Perfing - Perforations in the liner are necessary when the percentage of adhesive void coverage exceeds 50% and may also be required depending on the construction of the product.
• Minimum Order Quantity - Single-ply using standard facestock/liner - 2.3mmsi. Piggyback & custom order materials - Call Customer Service
• Maximum Master Roll Width - Rubber-Based Adhesives - 39" Emulsion Acrylic Adhesives - 39"
• Pattern Tolerance - Rubber-Based Adhesives - 1/8" Emulsion Acrylic Adhesives - 1/4"
• Minimum Void Areas - Rubber-Based Adhesives - 1/8" Emulsion Acrylic Adhesives - 1/4"
• Minimum Adhesive Area Requirements - Rubber-Based Adhesives - 1/8" Emulsion Acrylic Adhesives - 1/4"

• Release Values - Release values are subject tot he percentage of adhesive coverage and type of raw materials required.
• Overrun/Underrun Policy - Pattern adhesive coated pressure sensitive products using standard components will be considered complete if shipped within +/- 20% of the quantity ordered. Overrun / Underrun policy on custom ordered material is dependent opon the amount of material received from the raw material supplier. • Slit Roll Tolerance - +/- 1/32"
• Maximum Diameter - The aximum diameter will vary depending on upon the facestock and liner required. Please consult the Customer Service Department for more information.
• Toll Coating - Wausau Coated Products offers pattern adhesives on toll coated and custom coated products. Please contact the Customer Service Department for more information.
