Winder Assistant *2nd & 3rd shift

Synopsis: Do you have an eye for detail? As an Operator Assistant in our Winder department, you will be part of a team that enhances our products. You will edit, trim, and rewind material, creating finished, high quality product that will be shipped directly to our customer or prepared for other departments.  Your general duties will include gathering and loading materials, assistance with changeovers and housekeeping duties.  Opportunities for growth and on-the-job training will be provided during each step of your progression. 

Employees will receive $1.00/hour shift differential for 2nd shift hours worked!
Employees will receive $2.00/hour shift differential for 3rd shift hours worked!

Current Openings on 2nd Shift (3:00pm to 11:00pm) and 3rd Shift (11:00pm to 07:00am) 

Qualifications:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
• Experience operating a powered industrial truck is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, manuals and schedules.
• Ability to calculate basic math figures, such as addition, subtraction, division.
• Good organizational skills.
• Average computer skills and ability to learn Company-specific systems.
• Confidence and professionalism in representing the Company.
• Willingness to learn.
• Willingness to be a team player.
• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
