This includes picking and prepping raw materials, loading/unloading product on the machines, housekeeping, and assisting operators wherever necessary.
Flexo Press Assitants (1st shift) - Plymouth, MN **NEW**

Empower, a subsidiary of Wausau Coated Products, Inc, is currently seeking candidates for Flexo Press operator positions.
The Flexo Press Assitant is responsible for running up to 6-color narrow-web 18”-20” Flexo Presses to include daily start-up, production runs, clean-ups and shutdowns. The Assistant will be exposed to a variety of new projects, materials, applications and team sizes and will need to be ambitious, inquisitive and possess a track record of successful troubleshooting.
Work Schedule: 1st shift (5:45am-2:15pm; Monday-Friday)

The Coater Utility is responsible for pulling raw material rolls and finished master rolls away from the coating lines and storing those materials in racking, as directed by the production supervisors and coater operators. This position will also be responsible for blending and mixing UV Hotmelt adhesive during times in which they are not being utilized to pull materials from the coating lines.

The Materials Handler is responsible for safely and efficiently packaging and shipping outbound finished goods and LTL truck freight as directed by shipping schedules and the Transportation Manager. The position is also responsible for putting away incoming truck shipments and assisting in other areas of shipping and receiving as workload dictates.

You will edit, trim, and rewind material, creating finished, high quality product that will be shipped directly to our customer or prepared for other departments. Your general duties will include gathering and loading materials, assistance with changeovers and housekeeping duties. Opportunities for growth and on-the-job training will be provided during each step of your progression.
