The Customer Solutions Specialist is dedicated to providing our customers an exceptional experience with every interaction. The Customer Solutions Specialist works directly with our customers on new projects and technical recommendations, provides material specifications and samples, quotes both stock and made to order materials, processes purchase orders, coordinates material deliveries, provides tracking, processes suspect material cases and corrective actions. This role works closely with regional Outside Sales Representatives and multiple departments within the company to meet or exceed customers’ needs and expectations.

Wausau Coated is looking for experienced Narrow Web Flexo Printing Press Operators to join our team and help us run the quality labels we are known for. This person will set up and run a Narrow Web Flexo Mark Andy Press. Wausau Coated manufactures pressure-sensitive labels, peel and reseal labels and also variable data labels. Part of your responsibility will be to ensure the job is running properly and check quality throughout the run of printing labels. If you are an experienced Label Press Operator and are driven to work with other great people and take pride in what you do, we want you!

You will be working with custom product packaging and printing labels, flexible packaging, and fulfillment in several industries such as food and beverage, shelf marking, and industrial direct labeling.

Qualified applicants will have:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience operating a Narrow Web Flexographic Press
• Pay depends on experience level
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and mathematical skills
• Be reliable with a great work ethic
• Experience operating a Mark Andy machine is a bonus
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds

Wausau Coated is seeking an experienced P7 Mark Andy Press Operator to join our team.

Our Press Operators are responsible for running a P7 Mark Andy Press to include daily start-up, production runs, clean-ups and shutdowns. The operators will have the opportunity to work on a variety of new projects, materials, and applications throughout their shifts. They will work with varying crew sizes and will need to be ambitious, inquisitive and possess a track record of successful troubleshooting.

Each of these products are tailored to our customer’s needs, requiring specific material and machine specifications.

Winder Assistant *2nd & 3rd shift

You will edit, trim, and rewind material, creating finished, high quality product that will be shipped directly to our customer or prepared for other departments.  Your general duties will include gathering and loading materials, assistance with changeovers and housekeeping duties.  Opportunities for growth and on-the-job training will be provided during each step of your progression. 

Employees will receive $1.00/hour shift differential for 2nd shift hours worked!
Employees will receive $2.00/hour shift differential for 3rd shift hours worked!

The Production Lab Technician will ensure lab testing is performed with efficiency and accuracy while following standard testing procedures.  Ensure pressure sensitive product being manufactured and converted meets all specifications for that product and are free of known defects.
