Part-time PC/Netwrok Technician (Intern/Seasonal)

Synopsis: POSITION SUMMARY: Install and support all I.T.-related hardware and software, as well as provide technical assistance to Wausau Coated Products and sister companies.
 
WORK SCHEDULE: Part-time/Seasonal position, Monday – Friday, with flexible hours.  Overtime as business and project demands require.
 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow all Company safety policies and safety procedures in order to maintain a safe work environment.
• Follow all Company policies, rules and regulations.
• Act as a professional representative of Wausau Coated Products, Inc. at all times.
• Monitor and complete incoming help desk requests
• Work with IT Manager and Network Administrator as needed to troubleshoot, install, and update hardware and software
• Maintain and support internal phone systems, desk phones, and cellular phones.
• Install and configure hardware and software updates
• Provide training to employees on hardware and software use and capabilities
• Flexibility to assist in operational activities as required

• Pursuance of a Degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent on the job experience
• ​​Strong interpersonal skills and patience
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work on a problem until resolved, sometime for long periods of time
• Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (server & workstation), Mac Operating Systems, VMWare & Cisco
• Confidence and professionalism in representing the Company
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurability
