Synopsis: Position Summary
Are you the kind of person who loves keeping things running smoothly, organized, and on schedule? Do you enjoy juggling details, coordinating with people, and being the go-to problem solver? If so, we want you on our team!

As our Maintenance Coordinator, you’ll be the heartbeat of the Maintenance Department—keeping daily operations organized, documentation on point, and materials flowing where they’re needed most. You’ll work closely with Maintenance, Production, and outside vendors to make sure everything (and everyone) has what they need to succeed.

Work Schedule

  • Full-time, non-exempt
  • Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Overtime as business needs require
 
What You’ll Do
Champion company safety policies and help maintain a safe, positive work environment
  • Serve as a professional representative of Wausau Coated Products, Inc.
  • Process purchase orders for Maintenance, Facilities, projects, and production supplies
  • Coordinate and communicate with outside vendors (cleaning, snow removal, forklifts, pest control, food vendors, security systems—you name it!)
  • Help develop and maintain a Vendor Management System
  • Manage schedules, certifications, records, and documentation
  • Maintain documentation for the Preventative Maintenance Program
  • Participate in customer audits
  • Verify personnel schedules, vacation, and time-off
  • Organize parts systems and assist with parts storage
  • File and organize equipment manuals, inspection records, and safety documentation
 
What You Bring to the Table
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma required
  • Preferred: 1–2 years of manufacturing and/or maintenance experience
  • Familiarity with purchasing and receiving systems is a plus
 
Skills That Help You Shine
  • Strong critical thinking and planning skills
  • Ability to read and interpret policies, procedures, and contracts
  • Excellent organizational, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn company-specific systems
  • Comfortable working with multiple departments to meet deadlines
  • Organized, proactive, and not afraid to ask for help when needed
  • Eager to learn, confident, professional, and team-oriented
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurability
